Buffer effect of rear shock absorber bumper block

The shock absorber at the rear end of the car is mainly used for protection, and the rear shock absorber bumper block is used for absorbing the impact force of the outside. The rear shock absorber bumper block is usually attached to the front end face of the rear bumper, and the bumper block is in contact with the corresponding bumper through the end face.

 

It can be seen that in order to achieve the desired cushioning and protection effect, in the actual production and assembly process, the shape of the mating end face of the rear shock absorber bumper block and the bumper is required to be completely matched. However, due to the influence of the process, even in the assembly process, both the bumper and the buffer block will have a large deformation, and the part between the bumper and the assembly surface of the buffer block is pressed and there is still a gap, which is not achieved. The assembly requirements also affect the buffering capacity of the bumper and buffer block.

 

In view of this situation, we can appropriately improve the structural design of the rear shock absorber bumper block during the assembly process. By projecting a small convex hull outwardly on the end surface of the buffer block body, the small convex hull is equivalent to forming an elastic compression space between the bumper and the buffer block body. In this way, the bumper and the buffer block are compact in assembly, can be integrally assembled in place, and have high assembly strength, thereby ensuring a buffering effect.
